The Jerk

Think about it. Balance a shotgun on a pin. Move the back end -> moves the front. One moment he please.

First – I ask you to focus mentally on a specific block of time – if your weapon begins to move – all the way to the pressure on the trigger. During this time frame specified – Using the second hand of your watch – Notice of the time is 2 seconds. Now 3 seconds. Now 4. Can we accept that this block of swing and shot time " usually takes place between 2 to 4 seconds and – often – soon? Seems fair.

OK – now look hard at the first 1 to 1.5 seconds – The first, the critical movement of your weapon. What happens in this first 1 seconds? Too often – the main trigger is the race to face. Before the end of the hand is not much of anything other than support the weapon. Or – and this is the most important – in the 1st second – with hand trigger coming soon – the nose can only go in one direction: down. While the barrel is down – the bird happens elsewhere – is not it? It is not going down. He is past – or beyond – or away from us. Anywhere but down. Idle today – the stock is now on the cheek but your mouth pitched dirt! That's what I call the right hand to snap up "the jerk!"

1st full second – we begin the second number 2. The left hand is now "correct" lifting the nose and run after the target – anywhere he went. With the barrel out of control and hunting for the target – not only is valuable time lost – the advantage goes to the bird.

Title of my 2nd book – = "target _blank" title = "To The Target: A Sporting Clays Primer> the target" – that's where your forehand ended the muzzle. The first critical leadership in the gun mount is MOVE – does not mount. The front-end hand leads the movement -> To The Target – directly. The hands must work in precise harmony – not allowing the trigger hand to "throw" the muzzle his way. Done properly – when the stock touches your face, the image seen is the one you planned and you can finish the shot – X! No muss, no fuss.

Would you be more consistent? Do your hands work together in your carriages.
